AUC Medicine School

The American University of the Caribbean (AUC) in Cupecoy offers medical students a modernized learning environment in the Caribbean area. AUC was founded in 1978 by the Tien family then became part of the DeVry family of institutions in 2011 for $300 million. In 2013-2014, the University went through a $30 million renovation and expansion, and today, has a capacity of more than 1,000 students. This has brought unparalleled economic growth and stability to the Cupecoy, Maho and Beacon Hill areas, however, the growing number of students increases the demand for housing.

The Emerald at Maho, which will offer residents complimentary shuttle service, is a five-minute drive to and from AUC.
